Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

Reptor collects the workout data you enter directly — including exercises, sets, reps, weights, notes, bodyweight, body fat, body measurements, program settings, and optional coaching feedback. This training data is stored locally and powers your history, prescriptions, and progress. We also collect app diagnostics and crash data through Sentry (device model, OS version, and stack traces) to help us fix bugs and improve stability. Diagnostics can include technical identifiers and contextual information used to investigate failures.

If you grant notification permission, that preference is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us. If you use in-app purchases, RevenueCat collects your user ID, subscription status, and purchase history to manage your subscription; Reptor does not store your payment card details.

The website email link opens your email client. In-app support prepares an email that can include your message, reply address, app and platform versions, Pro status, and RevenueCat user ID. Review the displayed diagnostics before sending. We receive the information you send to support@reptorlog.com and use it to respond and investigate your request.

How We Use Your Data

Your workout data is used solely to power the Reptor experience — logging workouts, tracking progress, and displaying history. Crash and diagnostic data helps us identify and fix issues. If you've granted notification permission, it's used only to deliver local alerts such as rest timer countdowns, weekly training summaries, and inactivity reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are never routed through our servers.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to operating the app.

Data Security

All workout data is stored locally on your device. Reptor does not operate servers that store your workout history.

Manual exports contain readable JSON. Cloud backup files are compressed JSON, not password-encrypted by Reptor. Choose where to store or share them carefully. Optional iCloud sync and Android Google Drive backups and sync use the respective provider’s storage and security protections. If you use the Apple Watch app, workout data syncs directly between your iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — it does not pass through any external server.

Third-Party Services

Reptor uses the following third-party services:

• Sentry — crash and error reporting. Receives technical diagnostics such as device model, OS, stack traces, identifiers, and error context. • RevenueCat — in-app purchase management. Collects user ID, subscription status, and purchase history. Does not handle raw payment card data. • Apple iCloud — optional cross-device sync of supported training data using your device’s Apple account. • Google Sign-In and Google Drive — optional manual cloud backup and restore and opt-in automatic sync between Android devices using the same Google account. Sign-In authorizes access to Reptor’s hidden app-data storage in Drive. • Apple Watch and Health — WatchConnectivity connects the paired devices. With the Health option enabled and your permission, the Watch can save strength workouts to Apple Health and read supported health measurements, including heart rate, for workout metrics. Manage Health permissions through Apple’s settings.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have questions about how they handle your data.

Your Rights

You have the following rights over your data:

• Export programs with ReptoLang on Free. Full-data JSON export and CSV tools require Pro. Restore supported backups through Import / Export. • Remove local workout data by removing the app. Separately review copies in cloud storage, exported files, and Apple Health; removing the app does not necessarily delete those copies. • Request deletion of any Sentry diagnostic records or RevenueCat account data by contacting us at the address below.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right under GDPR to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right under CCPA to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

Your workout data remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. If you use iCloud sync, Google Drive backup or sync, or Apple Health, copies are retained according to your provider account and device settings. Exported files remain wherever you save them. Diagnostic retention depends on the reporting service’s configured retention period. RevenueCat retains purchase records as required for subscription management and tax compliance.

You can delete your local data at any time by removing the app. To request deletion of records held by Sentry or RevenueCat on your behalf, contact us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

Reptor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Reptor after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
