Data We Collect
Reptor collects the workout data you enter directly — including exercises, sets, reps, weights, and any notes you add. We also collect app diagnostics and crash data through Sentry (device model, OS version, and stack traces) to help us fix bugs and improve stability. This diagnostic data is not linked to your identity.
If you grant notification permission, that preference is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us. If you use in-app purchases, RevenueCat collects your user ID, subscription status, and purchase history to manage your subscription; Reptor does not store your payment card details.
If you contact us through the beta or contact form on our website, it simply opens your own email client to send a message to support@reptorlog.com. We receive the email address and message you choose to send, and use them only to respond. There is no third-party form processor, and nothing from the form is stored on our servers.
How We Use Your Data
Your workout data is used solely to power the Reptor experience — logging workouts, tracking progress, and displaying history. Crash and diagnostic data helps us identify and fix issues. If you've granted notification permission, it's used only to deliver local alerts such as rest timer countdowns, weekly training summaries, and inactivity reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are never routed through our servers.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to operating the app.
Data Security
All workout data is stored locally on your device. Reptor does not operate servers that store your workout history.
Backups you create through the in-app export feature are AES-encrypted before they leave the app. Data synced via Apple iCloud is protected by Apple's encryption both in transit and at rest. If you use the Apple Watch app, workout data syncs directly between your iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — it does not pass through any external server.
Third-Party Services
Reptor uses the following third-party services:
• Sentry — crash and error reporting. Collects device diagnostics (model, OS, stack traces), not personal identity. Data is retained for 90 days. • RevenueCat — in-app purchase management. Collects user ID, subscription status, and purchase history. Does not handle raw payment card data. • Apple iCloud — optional cloud backup of your workout data. Governed by Apple's privacy policy. • Apple Watch — if you use the Watch app, workout data syncs locally between your iPhone and Watch via WatchConnectivity. No data leaves your devices.
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have questions about how they handle your data.
Your Rights
You have the following rights over your data:
• Export your data at any time using the in-app backup feature. • Delete your workout data by removing the app from your device. • Request deletion of any Sentry diagnostic records or RevenueCat account data by contacting us at the address below.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right under GDPR to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right under CCPA to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention
Your workout data remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. If you use iCloud sync, Apple retains that data according to your iCloud settings. Sentry retains diagnostic data for 90 days. RevenueCat retains purchase records as required for subscription management and tax compliance.
You can delete your local data at any time by removing the app. To request deletion of records held by Sentry or RevenueCat on your behalf, contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
Reptor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Reptor after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
