Your training, your data

Workout logging uses local storage on your device; no Reptor account is required. Cloud features and purchases need connectivity. Backups are recovery snapshots, while sync reconciles supported training data across devices.

Programs versus full-data exports

ReptoLang program import and export are available on Free. A program file describes a plan; it is not a backup of your workout history.

Settings → Import / Export contains full-data JSON export and CSV workout tools, which require Pro. Restore Backup accepts supported JSON and compressed backup files. Read the confirmation carefully: restoring replaces current data. Keep a recovery copy before a large import or restore.

Manual JSON exports are readable files, and cloud backup files are compressed JSON. They are not password-encrypted by Reptor. Store or share exported files only where you intend them to be accessible.

iCloud sync on iOS

Configure optional iCloud sync in Settings → Cloud Sync. It uses your device’s Apple account to reconcile supported completed training data. Check its status before relying on another device to have the latest changes.

Sync is not a point-in-time archive. Device-specific settings and an active workout are not shared in the same way as completed training history. Keep manual snapshots when you need a recoverable copy from a particular date.

Android cloud backup

On Android, Cloud Backup connects to Google Drive through Google Sign-In. Upload a snapshot manually or select a previous backup to restore. Review the confirmation before restoring and use retry controls if an operation fails.

These backups do not automatically sync between devices. Connecting Google Drive is not the same as enabling iCloud-style cross-device sync. Android download availability is separate from these platform-specific instructions.

Apple Watch and Apple Health

Use the companion Watch app with a supported paired iPhone. Log sets and manage rest from your wrist. If it does not connect as expected, review the connection and Settings → Apple Watch on the phone.

Saving workouts to Apple Health depends on the Health setting and your permissions. Review or change permissions in Apple’s settings. Practice workouts do not send workouts or timers to Watch or Health.

Moving devices

Check cloud status or create an available backup before removing the app or changing devices. Removing the app can remove local data; it does not necessarily delete copies retained in cloud storage, exports, or Apple Health. Review those locations separately.

See the Privacy Policy for storage and service details. Contact support@reptorlog.com if you need help; review the information included in an in-app support request before sending.
