Get straight to your next set
Start a program session, saved workout, or empty workout from Train. Record the weight and reps you perform and tap the checkmark for each completed set. Timed exercises use seconds instead of reps.
Warmups and previous values
Tap the set number to switch between a working set and a warmup marked W. Warmups stay separate from working volume and do not use RPE/RIR effort inputs.
With automatic prefill enabled, completed warmup weights and reps can carry into your next workout on the same program day and exercise slot. Program-prescribed warmups remain respected. Review all prefilled values against today’s intended work.
Previous-session exercise notes appear during workouts with a link to their source session. Use today’s notes for what happened now, and pinned notes for details you want to keep handy, such as a machine’s seat position.
Rest and set tools
- Complete a set to start rest automatically when enabled. Adjust or skip rest with the timer controls.
- Tap the timer beside an exercise to set its duration. Warmup and working-set defaults live in Settings → Rest Timer.
- Open a set’s three-dot menu for dropsets, AMRAP, failure flags, and calculators.
- Use the intensity control for RPE or RIR on working sets. These record actual effort, separately from prescribed targets.
- Swipe a set to delete it; use the Undo banner immediately if you need it back.
AMRAP means as many reps as possible. Record the number you actually achieved. Plate and one-rep-max calculators are available from set options and Settings → Tools; check their units and bar weight.
Exercise controls
Tap an exercise name for its history and instructions. Use its menu to swap, remove, or link exercises as a superset, and its drag handle to reorder them. When swapping in a program, review whether the substitution is remembered; Undo Swap restores the prescribed exercise.
Some programs prescribe rep, percentage, or effort ranges and segmented work. Follow the targets shown for that set and record what you actually perform. Coached sessions have their own prescription and adjustment controls.
Finish or repeat a session
Tap Finish and review the recap. A completed program workout updates that program’s progression. You can find completed sessions in History and repeat one to start a fresh workout carrying its exercises, sets, and weights. Repeating does not edit the original workout.
For mobility inside a session, add stretching between lifting sets. For learning the controls without recording training, use the practice tutorial in Help & Guide.
